About Me

We were married August 30, 2008 in the Manti Temple. We both graduated in education. I then became a stay at home and Adam became a stay at school student. He returned to college to become a Physical Therapist. And thus our life is about discovery and adventures that we get to do together.

PT and Plump

So, starting a blog is a step into entering the world of motherhood and responsibility. I am rather excited and nervous to start something such as a blog.

Adam and I are becoming rather excited for the arrival of our little girl. Although we have yet to choose her name, the outfits are being chosen, the bed is set, and all other minor details next to having a name, are being taken care of. I feel as though a name will come upon us once we see her. Hopefully. If not, a list of 5 names has been organized and we hope to just repeat the names over and over until one feels right.

Other than the rampage of preparing ourselves for this young one, Adam is back at school and succeeding in his attempts to pass Anatomy with an A. He is naming every body part he sees and dreams only of muscles, bones, and any other gooey vision that comes from studying the human body. He then will be graduating in August in Education and transferring to UVU to venture into the realms of getting all pre-reqs done for Physical Therapy school. Although the switch of studies might seem extreme, they actually are very similar. They cause pain for the participants and joy for the one instructing.

As for me, I am officially an Elementary Educator. Although I will not be teaching in a school system because we are expecting, I hope to do some substitute teaching and then to open a preschool to help get Adam through his long years of school.

Other than that, we are enjoying all the adventures that have been coming our way. The house that we live in is old and falling apart and could not be any better for us. We love it's uniqueness and the oddness that comes each day from living here. For example, we have spiders that choose to make their web outside of our bedroom window. In attempts to get the house ready for our girl, we removed them and rejoiced in our job well done. However, when we awoke the next morning, we were only surprised with another web in the exact location from wince we removed the first. Although the spider conquered the first round of war, I feel as though Adam and I will win the second round.

For now, this will be the start of our first post for our first blog. Many more should follow and hopefully I will be able to speak what is going on around these parts.
